Who Am I

My name is Sean McAleer, I am a qualified linesman by trade and spent my early career dedicated to building and maintaining overhead powerlines. Throughout this time, I also gained extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in crucial areas such as working at heights, executing rescue procedures, and operating a wide array of plant and machinery.

After becoming a qualified trainer, I pursued a career in training and assessment. This journey has allowed me to accumulate a wealth of experience in training and mentoring apprentices, while also helping tradesmen to upskill and enhance their capabilities.

I believe that training and Health & Safety go hand in hand, which inspired me to obtain my NEBOSH qualification. My previous roles as a HSEQ Consultant and as a Health & Safety Manager have given me the insight to always put safety first.

In 2022, I established McAleer Training, where I proudly provide a wide range of training, assessment, and HSEQ consultancy services in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
